Insurance and Billing
We bill all Commercial Insurances and Medicare. Currently, we are also directly contracted with Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Oregon, Cigna, First Choice, Great-West, HealthCare Direct, Health Net, Lifewise, ODS, PacifiCare, PacificSource, Providence EPO, Providence MCO, Providence PPO, Providence Preferred, Regence, UnitedHealthcare and we accept workman's compensation insurance. We offer a significant discount for cash payment.
Eugene Urgent Care collects co-payments at the time of the visit. We accept major credit cards.
If you need blood drawn or an x-ray, there will be charges on top of the physician fee. These vary depending on what tests need to be done.
Our services are offered at a savings to patients, employers, insurance companies, and other healthcare consumers over the costs of hospital emergency departments or hospital based "fast-track" services.
Our advanced coding and charting system speeds insurance claim payments and minimizes questioning of claims/refusal to pay. Lower total charges also make the claims more acceptable to participating insurance companies.
High-Deductible Plans and Health Savings Account (HSA)
A major obstacle to signing up for a Health Savings Account (HSA) or high-deductible health plan is potential emergency department (ED) out-of-pocket expenditures. Our Urgent Care cuts average Emergency Room costs by 50%-plus—a substantial savings to HSA and high-deductible plan members. If, for example, an HSA member is liable for the first $5,000 in healthcare costs, a $2,000 or $3,000 ED tab comes directly out-of-pocket. Cut that cost by half or more, and the benefits are obvious.
